Figo the hero

Figo is a dog for blind people. In 2014 a blind lady and the dog went out for a walk but when the lady was crossing the road a school bus was investing her but the dog saved her, pushing her away. In this way the dog was wounded in her place, but he didn't care until he saw her mistress safe.

 

Legend of Gelert

Many years ago in a castle there was a prince. He loved hunting and his favorite hunting dog was called "Gelert". The prince had a wife, but she died when his son was born, and the prince promised to his wife to protect the baby. One day he was preparing yo go out hunting and when he called his dog he discovered that he was disappeared so he decided to go alone. He went to  his son's room and left him in the cradle and he went hunting. When hi came back home, he went in the baby's room and he found a lot of blood and the cradle was upside down and the dog came out behind the cradle and he was full of blood, so the prince thought that Gelert had killed his son and he decided to kill him. Later he heard the baby that was crying and when he saw behind the cradle he found the baby and a dead wolf. When he found the baby he understood that the dog saved his baby from the wolf. The legend says that the prince never smiled again and he decided to put the body of the dog outside the castle, near the river, and on the grave is written "BeddGelert". 

Pancake Day

Pancake day Pancake Day is the traditional day of celebration that precedes the beginning of Lent on Ash Wednesday. Lent, the 40 days before Easter is traditionally a time of fasting. It is a day in February or March which is celebrated in some countries by consuming pancakes. It's probably impossible to know when the tradition starts. Some suggests that pancake day was originally a pagan holiday. Ancient Slavs believed that the change of the season was a fight between Jarillo, the god of vegetation, and the evils spirits of cold and darkness. People believed that they had to help their god so they start making a eating pancakes. They believed that by eating pancakes the got the power and warmth of sun. The first pancake usually was put on the window for the spirits, while the last day all pancakes were brunt in a bonfire as a sacrifie to the pagan gods.

Marek Hamsik

My favorite sports person is Marek Hamsik. He is 30 years old and he is married with Martina Franova and they have three sons, He is a football player and he plays in my favorite team: Napoli. He started his career in Brescia when he was a teenager, and then he moved to Naples. He was named the best young player by Italian player association, and in 2016 he was added in the team of the year. He was also named Slovakian player of the tear for five years. I first heard about him when I was ten years old and I admire him because he plays in my favorite team since many years.

                          Banksy
Banksy is a graffiti artist very famous in fact some pop star and actors have copies of his work. We don't know who is Banksy, he is anonymous because graffiti is a crime. His works have a political dimensions because he uses graffiti to attack many problems, some of these are environment, capitalism and animalism. His graffiti are in many zoos to give the animals a voice. Banksy's graffit are on the wall in Palestine, galleries and Britsh museum too.

In this graffiti there are two soldiers that are painting a no war symbol. I like so much this graffiti and I like the face expression of the soldiers because they seem to fearful because they also hate the war.

                My personal history 
My history 
My name's Michela Zevoli. I was born in Italy on 2nd April 2001. My parents are Italian and my mum works in Mondragone but my dad works for a railway company based in Milan. 
My school
My first school was called primary school Arcobaleno and I started there when I was three. My second school was called secondary school Michelangelo Buonarroti and I started there when I was eleven. Now I attend the Liceo Linguistico and I go to school from Monday to Friday. I study many subjects but my favourite sublects are: English, French and Spanish.

Interests 
In my free time I like listening to music, playing computer games, whatching tv series and chatting. I love many sports especially volleyball in fact I spend a lot of time at the gym of scuola Arcobaleno.

Home life 

My home life is quite normal. Mum and dad both work so I sometimes help in the house. On Saturday morning I go to the supermarket whit my mum to help her whit the shopping. On Saturday afternoon I meet my friends and sometimes we go out.
